As part of Black History Month, we are excited to announce that author Ricky Strachan has visited school.

He talked to the children about his education and how it enabled him to have a successful career in financial services/stock market. He also explained his heritage and highlighted his curiosity to learn more black history that was positive.

Ricky took the children through some of the main characters of his books and explained why they are important historic figures.

He will be returning to school later in October to bring in books but parents can purchase them from all major book stores, Amazon, Waterstones and WH smith. Books are priced at £6.99 and T-shirts at £12.99.
